Printing film positives or negatives for screens or polymer plates has never been easier. Film Direct is now offering a cartridge free, 13"x19" film output bundle. If you have ever used a traditional syringe and ink refill system then you are familiar with how messy and complicated the refilling process can be. The onboard ink tanks of the et-8550 eliminate this mess. Sync this printer up to your computer and favorite art program and you've got a turn key film output solution. Capable of printing film up to 13"x19" prints, this cartridge free, all black ink enabled print system is affordable and easy to use. There are no messy cartridges to fill or chips to reset. Using our specially formulated ink from Graphics One the bottles are fitted with a special nozzle simply pour the ink directly into the onboard ink tanks. The ink is specifically designed for the TFP micro head in the et-8550. It's both super opaque and will not clog the print head under normal usage. For customers who do a high volume of film or the customer that is just using the printer occasionally this print system is a great option.
Peace of mind warranty: Typically when you fill any EcoTank printer with non OEM ink you immediately void parts of the manufacturer warranty as there is really no way to remove the ink. With the purchase of this bundle we backstop any portion of the warranty the manufacturer won't cover. Film Direct will either fix or replace the printer at our discretion for 1 year.

- Custom Printfab film profiles- Using our profiles takes the guess work out of the various ink settings. We’ve calibrated the settings to have a minimum Dmax ink density of 2.75 and the halftones are linearized to 3% accuracy.
