Product Overview

GO T3170x SP is a high performance, full-solution 24-inch professional inkjet system for color separation. With a maximum printing and media width of up to 24-inches and a maximum resolution of 2400 x 1200 dpi, GO T3170x SP is perfect for producing incredibly sharp text and line art. In addition, the GO T3170x SP is unique in that it is the first large format printer to incorporate the cartridge-free printing. This 24-inch printer utilizes the latest MicroTFP printheads. In addition, to offer inks that were developed specifically for EPSON® MicroTFP print heads. With the launch of GO T3170x SP system, Graphics One is again leading the market with a 24-inch film positive solution for screen printers.

Ideal Application

The most common applications for commercial screen-printing are silk screen t-shirts, posters, stickers, signs, banners, ring binders, mouse pads, promotional items and exhibition displays.

We test, use and sell quite a few film output systems and when it comes to ease of use and low maintenance this is about the best machine we have ever used. If you have ever used a refillable ink system you know the issues that come along with maintaining the ink levels and resetting the chips. This printer takes the guess work out of it, no chips to reset or cartridges to leak or fail. Using our specially designed bottles that pour ink directly into the machine you eliminate the hassles and expense of cartridges. This machine also prints fairly quickly, a 17"x22" sheet will print in about a minute at 2400dpi.  We have experience no registration issues with both sheets and rolls. The ink density averages around 3.5 on the dmax scale, a dmax minimum of 2 is required to burn a screen and 3.0 to hold halftone dots. Overall we give this system a solid A.
